Primo Plumbing Website & Digital Marketing

Building a stronger digital foundation for a growing North Auckland plumbing business, with local SEO, lead generation and long-term visibility built in.

About This Project

Primo Plumbing came to Vida Loeb with a clear objective: build a stronger online presence that could generate more of the right enquiries and support the next stage of the business.

The existing website provided a basic online presence, but it didn’t fully communicate the breadth of Primo’s services, Dan’s experience or the areas the business wanted to grow into. Rather than simply giving the old site a visual refresh, we approached the project from the perspective of how potential customers actually search for and choose a plumber.

The new website was built around Primo’s core residential services, including maintenance plumbing, renovations, new builds, hot water systems, hot water heat pumps and specialist plumbing for lifestyle properties. Each service was given a clear pathway through the site, making it easier for customers to understand what Primo does and take the next step.

Local search was considered from the outset. The site structure, content and service areas were developed around the North Auckland communities Primo actually serves, rather than trying to compete broadly for generic Auckland plumbing searches. The website was also integrated with Primo’s Google Business Profile to create a stronger foundation for ongoing local SEO.

A particular growth opportunity was identified around hot water heat pumps. We developed a dedicated section explaining the technology, presenting Primo’s Haier and Rheem options, indicative installed pricing and the practical information homeowners need when considering an upgrade. This gives future Google Ads and SEO campaigns a highly relevant landing page rather than sending paid traffic to a generic plumbing page.

Conversion was equally important. Phone numbers, calls to action and enquiry forms are positioned throughout the site, with the mobile experience designed around making it simple to contact Dan directly. Genuine imagery of Dan, his vehicle, family and completed work also helps reinforce that customers are dealing with a real, local, owner-operated business.

Behind the scenes, the project included migration from the previous website platform to a more flexible WordPress environment, responsive development, technical configuration, security, analytics and search-engine preparation.

The result isn’t simply a better-looking website. It’s a digital foundation designed to grow with the business.

With the new site in place, Primo can progressively build its search visibility through SEO, targeted service and location content, Google Business Profile activity and focused Google Ads campaigns, while measuring which channels and services are producing genuine enquiries.
